Bay Rd Brewery
One of the newcomers on the Central Coast scene, Bay Rd Brewery came about after three mates Grant Buckham, Darren Barber and Sam Kennis got together, drank some craft brews in a boatshed and decided to turn their passion into a reality, taking on Australia's ever-expanding craft brewery scene.
BLOCK'nTackle
Took seed as a garage brewing project between Avoca Beach locals Michael Pepper (Pep) and Al Jones. Having teamed up with fellow locals Brett Brown and Greg Tobin, the brewery formally opened its doors at its current premises at Kincumber on the Central Coast of NSW amidst the cyclonic storm of April 2015.

Not only are they producing great beer, but have paired it with delicious food from their American BBQ style smokehouse.

The four founders (Jim, Michael, Dylan and Jake) have long had a passion for beer, homebrewing and a dream to start a brewery. The decision to open a brewery came after the four long time mates sat down over a beer and agreed that a great place like Newcastle needed more beer brewed locally. In 2018, Shout Brewing Co. was established.
Paddles Brewing Co
Previously known as Brew By U Newcastle. Paddles Brewing, started trading in Sep 2022. By good friends Les and Paddy. Hence the name Paddles. They brew small batch beer, with over 120 commercially inspired recipes. Available in 50Ltrs batches. the tap room has around 8 different beers at any given time to try.
Grainfed Brewing
From brewing home brew at Wagga University some 20 plus yrs ago. Lachlan MacBean has turned a hobby into a career. From a career into a family owned brewery. Grained quickly made a name for itself across the Newcastle community and has grown into one of the most respected brewing brands.
